My accidental cloche — I found a moth on my floor, the Victorian note spike and the bell jar were at hand. C'est tout. This vignette will change many times, I'm sure.
Enjoy some other cloche still-lifes (lives?), beautiful in winter's light…

I love, love, LOVE all of these, especially the moth! I just recently bought a pair of the old note spikes to make book page trees at Christmas, but had no good idea for the rest of the year. I actually have a bumble bee and a few other assorted insects I was planning to preserve in resin that I could use instead of the moth! Thank you for sharing all of your beautiful cloches. I’ve got an abundance of small ones, purchased years ago that I need to unpack and fill with tiny collections. 💜

Thank you for the lovely comments. Sadly the moth one fell apart on a recent move. Word to the wise: I hadn’t sprayed the moth either, to preserve it, so it had begun to disintegrate.LikeLike
