I have been welcoming autumn. Absolutely revelling in it. I had planned to get myself into an autumn palette mode around the shop and house, donning all with fabrics and paints in warm, earthy tones. But the first grey day that came made me go into the season kicking and screaming. I went to my supply of paints in the garage and suddenly I was standing there with turquoise, lime, and white! "Stand back! I’m not ready to put sweaters on all of you!" So, despite my visions of rust, camel, cocoa, and the like, the furniture is coming out as if dressed in day-glo bikinis…
(witness brown leaves in the background)
I will try (not) to get into the spirit, to play by the rules (not). Who says. I could’ve titled this post The Anarchist Designer. Lime and turquoise look even better on a grey day. I DO like green eggs and ham.
