Lately I've been writing Sylvie BC, meaning Sylvie Beyond Cancer. Tomorrow, Wednesday the 28th, is my mastectomy surgery. It's after 9pm and I still don't have my bag packed…and I have to get up at 4:30am!!

Dear Sylvie,
I m from Turkey, Istanbul. I read your last post. I m not sad I am full with hope. I had same surgery when I was 24. My mom and my aunt died because of cancer but I didnt hate from cancer. I try to understand why it choose me and I found my special answers. I am 28 now. I found my love when I take the cemoteraphy(? sorry for my beginning English:)) )
Believe to the life and listen him. Listen him What He Tried to say. Ask it to him and give permission to him to tell about real you to you…
İt will be good. I feel like this. Dont afraid dont hate only believe.

BTW, I know it’s small consolation, but I have a friend who had double cancer (ovarian and uterine) at age 24, and she is fine now. Every doctor except one told her there was no hope, and she’s been alive and in remission for almost 10 years. Good luck!
