I finally did Alameda's Antiques by the Bay. Much gratitude to sfgirlbybay, Victoria, for her kindness in posting a heads-up about it. I got to meet so many of her sweet readers. I loved the crowd and wish I could've spent the entire day just photographing the people and treasures. What an eyeful. I was too busy minding the booth. Merci to my Richard for taking these shots:

Although I was so grateful to be back in my element amongst the colorful flea market crowd (I sold at the Skyview flea in Santa Cruz for some time), I have to admit that I'm feeling my age and can't imagine doing this on a regular basis. There's a small antique fair in Santa Cruz where the day starts later and will be more my speed. Look for me there in May. I'll give an update as it gets closer. Thanks again to Victoria and to all of you who visited space U19!
