Three years ago I had an embroidered artwork in my shop, Blossom Home. After I posted it on Flickr I heard from a sweet guy who reproduced it as a painting. I've continued to see other versions of it over the years. It's fun to see how a piece like this can connect people in different parts of the world.

    There are certain designs (like this crewel tree) that go sort of wacky when you quickly scroll up and down the page.

    Sylvie, I’m at a loss to explain it it but I think is has something to do the the graduated sizes of the branches. When you scroll up and down there’s an optical illusion that makes the trees seem to pulsate or grow.
