Hi, Sylvie! You’ve only just reappeared in my mailbox. So glad you’re back, at least to me. I was wondering what happened to you. I’ll look for this movie but it’s doubtful it will come anywhere close to where I live.

Hey Carla! I wonder if something’s wrong with my blog feed? Do you receive my posts through Feedblitz? Anyway, lovely to hear from you!
The film is showing in Portland. Not sure what part of the state you’re in. You can also see the full version on YouTube. I’m waiting to savor it on the big screen 🙂

Hello Karen,
Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately they cancelled the showing here in Santa Cruz. They said that the box offices back east weren’t doing well. They said if I got 49 people together they would do a private screening, but I was unable to. So I’ll be seeing it on Netflix. Wah!
I think the people running the “art house” theater here are grossly mistaken when it comes to knowing their audience. The Santa Cruz area has a major bluegrass contingent — both musicians and followers.
Now I’m waiting to see the film “Dom Hemingway” but they don’t have that scheduled for our area either. What’s the point of living in an urban area if you don’t get the perks that make it worth putting up with all of the traffic, overcrowding, etc. Sheesh.
